I created this hot dog car for my UNC vs Duke basketball tent during my sophomore year. Our tent name was Slim Jims (named for Isaiah Evans). I created a hot dog body, axles, and wheels that said “slim jims” in SolidWorks. I had to print three different axle designs to perfect tolerancing, allowing for a snug press fit in both the bearings and wheels. This project was a lot of fun because I got to bring it to my tent and everyone was able to use it.
